Rateblox is a tool for building in Roblox Studio, not a one-click game generator. You stay the game designer: the agent plans, builds one step per message, tests that step in Play and tries to fix errors it finds. Then you play it and decide what comes next.

Can it make a whole game from one prompt?
No — and nothing honest can. Rateblox plans your game first, then builds it one step per message: the world, scripts and UI for that step, tested in Play. A small game usually takes a plan and four to six steps, plus your own testing and tweaks in between.
Is the game plan really free?
Yes. Describe your idea, pick a style, and you get the full plan — name, gameplay and shop items — without paying. Building it in Roblox Studio needs a subscription.
Why not just use Claude or ChatGPT?
You can connect a chatbot to Studio yourself, but then you set up the tools and check every change. Rateblox does that part: it reads your place, plans first, builds one step at a time and tests each step in Play before it moves on. Nothing to install except the plugin. If you already use Claude or ChatGPT, you can also connect Rateblox to them as a tool.
What exactly is Rateblox?
Software you operate yourself in Roblox Studio. You chat in the plugin or on this website; the plugin lets the agent read your place, build parts, write scripts, run playtests and try to fix errors it finds. Image, video and voice generation are not available. Rateblox does not sell Robux, exchange Robux, pay you, or promise any result from a published game.
Does it copy other games, or make cheats?
No. It builds an original place in your own Studio file. It is not cheat or hack software, and you may not use it to copy another creator’s name, characters, or assets.
I can’t code. Can I still use it?
Yes. Describe what you want in plain words, in any language. The agent writes the Luau, and you can ask it to explain or change anything.
What is a credit?
You pick a work level for each message: Quick (1 credit) for small edits, Standard (2) for a feature built and tested in Play, Max (3) for one step at the highest polish. Questions and plans cost 1. If a message fails because of a problem on our side, nothing is charged.
Will it break my game?
Each step it makes in Studio is a normal undoable change — Ctrl+Z works. It reads your place before editing, and free models it inserts have their scripts removed. AI can still make mistakes, so test in Play and tell it what to change.
Does it work on games I already have?
Yes. It reads the existing hierarchy and scripts, so it can extend or fix what you already built instead of starting over.
What do I need to run it?
Roblox Studio on Windows or Mac, open and connected through the plugin while the agent builds. Phones and tablets can’t run Studio.
How much does it cost, and can I cancel?
Hobby ($12), Pro ($20) and Max ($50) are monthly subscriptions with 80, 150 or 400 credits — or pay yearly and save 20%. They renew until you cancel, which you can do anytime in your account; you keep the plan until the end of the period you paid for.
Can I get a refund?
If you haven’t spent a credit from that charge, you get a full refund within 14 days. A message that fails on our side does not spend a credit. This promise does not limit a refund the law already gives you. Details are in the Refund Policy.
Who owns what I make?
You do. You keep the rights to your prompts and to the output generated for you, subject to third-party rights, as set out in our Terms.
What happens to my data?
Your prompts and place context are sent to AI providers only to generate your result. See the Privacy Policy.
Who can use Rateblox? Is it made by Roblox?
Creators who are 18 or older. It is not made for or advertised to anyone younger. Rateblox is independent and not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Roblox Corporation.
